Jatropha plant is a drought resistant plant whose seeds contain 40% oil which is used produce biodiesel. This plant grows rapidly and can live about 40 years. Its leaves are toxic to animals but its waste, after the production of the oil, can be used to make organic manure. One big advantage it has is that it can grow in almost all kind of soils.
