You walked with me in this journey
You shared with me the toil
We told stories as we go
To accompany the long decesive journey

You cried with me when all seemed to be falling
With you words you blew away my tears
You laughed with me when my star shone
And you gave me those radiant smiles
You leaned beside me
While doing that which put us together

I never wished that we part
I knew that this day must come
But always wished it away
But since it must happen
That we embark on our missions
To redeem the planet in small ways

The hills we conquered together
My eyes filled with tears
With joy I see them far over my shoulder
Have left a mark in us

Ahead there are mountains
That we have to conquer
And I trust that you can
For you proved you can
I now send you

So I send you
To live the truth we shared
practise the skill we acquired
and reap reap what we all aspire
To make their lives and ours a little fairer
